76 of us spent a combined total of 300 years earning 19 Associates, 52 Bachelors, 19 Masters and 4 Doctorate degrees.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 50 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 60 foreign countries.
7 of us have birthdays this month, and 7 of us have birthdays in June.
Currently, 43 of us are retired.

Beverly McLean Obit photo 05/09/1952 ~ 12/02/2014
ANGIER – Beverly B. McLean, 62, passed away Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. A native of Newport News VA, she was the daughter of the late William Belch and Orphia Lyttle.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery, Angier.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years Freddie McLean in 2004; step-father, W.J. Lyttle.
Survivors include her daughter, Meredith Hood of Rockingham; son, Ryan McLean (Holly Shadoin) of Colorado; sister, Janis Belch of Williamsburg VA; son-in-law, Errol Hood of Rockingham; Meredith’s in-laws, Paul, Cathy, Luke and Landen Hoggard of Rockingham; grandchildren, Caleb, Kellan, Cayden and Kylie Hood.

I remember my great 8th grade year w/ fond memories. Bev and I would catch the city bus and ride to the Village theatre, see a movie and then to Shoney’s after for a piece of strawberry pie. Sometimes we would go shopping at Nachman’s. Our friendship continued throughout high school. I remember hanging out w/ Bev and Juanita. Lost touch after high school. |
